<p><span style="font-size: small;">The University of Cape Coast (UCC) and the Zenith University College (ZUC) on Tuesday 11th August 2015 signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the two institutions to share ideas, expertise and experiences in their operations.<br />
The agreement will also give </span><span style="font-size: medium;"><g class="gr_ gr_26 gr-alert gr_spell ContextualSpelling" id="26" data-gr-id="26"><span style="font-size: small;">lecturers</span></g><span style="font-size: small;"> of the UCC the opportunity to assist the ZUC.<br />
The </span><g class="gr_ gr_38 gr-alert gr_gramm Punctuation only-del replaceWithoutSep" id="38" data-gr-id="38"><span style="font-size: small;">MoU,</span></g></span><span style="font-size: small;"> clearly sets out some obligations which need to be obeyed to the letter by both parties, and it is expected to be renewed after five years.<br />
The occasion was also used to deliberate on some of the challenges faced by ZUC and what could be done to address them through the mentoring process.<br />

<p><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>Signing process</strong><br />
The President of the ZUC, Mr Gibrine Adam, signed on behalf of the college while Prof. D.D. Kuupole, Vice Chancellor of the UCC, signed on behalf of the university.<br />
Under the MoU, the UCC which is the mentoring institution will be expected to ensure that admission requirements of the college are duly met in accordance with the approved national minimum requirements.<br />
It will also ensure that the content of all the programmes of the college </span><span style="font-size: medium;"><g class="gr_ gr_29 gr-alert gr_gramm Grammar multiReplace" id="29" data-gr-id="29"><span style="font-size: small;">satisfy</span></g></span><span style="font-size: small;"> the minimum requirement for graduation.<br />
The MoU also mandates the UCC to sit in all meetings of the admission process of the college to ensure that the standards are maintained.<br />

<p><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>UCC </strong></span><span style="font-size: medium;"><g class="gr_ gr_32 gr-alert gr_spell ContextualSpelling" id="32" data-gr-id="32"><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>commends</strong></span></g><span style="font-size: small;"><strong> Zenith</strong><br />
In a short address, Prof. Kuupole </span><g class="gr_ gr_33 gr-alert gr_spell ContextualSpelling" id="33" data-gr-id="33"><span style="font-size: small;">commended</span></g></span><span style="font-size: small;"> Zenith College for complying with all the laid down rules and regulations, and also lauded the school for choosing UCC as its mentoring institution, noting that “we’re really impressed with your activities so far”.<br />
“The fact that UCC is your mentoring institution does not mean that we will impose things on you. This agreement is a partnership that we all need to learn from each other,” he said.<br />
For his part, Mr Adam pledged to always comply with its obligations under the agreement, indicating that the school would not do anything to bring the image of its mentoring institution into disrepute.<br />

<p><span style="font-size: small;">The University of Cape Coast (UCC) and the Zenith University College (ZUC) on Tuesday 11th August 2015 signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for the two institutions to share ideas, expertise and experiences in their operations.<br />
The agreement will also give </span><span style="font-size: medium;"><g class="gr_ gr_26 gr-alert gr_spell ContextualSpelling" id="26" data-gr-id="26"><span style="font-size: small;">lecturers</span></g><span style="font-size: small;"> of the UCC the opportunity to assist the ZUC.<br />
The </span><g class="gr_ gr_38 gr-alert gr_gramm Punctuation only-del replaceWithoutSep" id="38" data-gr-id="38"><span style="font-size: small;">MoU,</span></g></span><span style="font-size: small;"> clearly sets out some obligations which need to be obeyed to the letter by both parties, and it is expected to be renewed after five years.<br />
The occasion was also used to deliberate on some of the challenges faced by ZUC and what could be done to address them through the mentoring process.<br />

<p><span style="font-size: small;"><strong>Signing process</strong><br />
The President of the ZUC, Mr Gibrine Adam, signed on behalf of the college while Prof. D.D. Kuupole, Vice Chancellor of the UCC, signed on behalf of the university.<br />
